Schedule

Monthly Club Meetings occur the second Tuesday of each month at 7:00 pm in the Recreation Complex, visitors welcome. We have informative guest speakers and demos, live auctions twice a year, and a Christmas party. Door prizes and a raffle are offered as well.

We have over 12 field trips per year including several day or weekend trips, annual trips to the Big Bend region, and a two-week trip of roughly 6,000 miles visiting mines and collecting turquoise, petrified wood, sunstone, obsidian, sapphires, precious opal, star garnet and more.  Next planned trip is summer of 2025.

There are always classes and seminars being offered – classes are announced at the monthly meetings, in the newsletter, and and here on our web site under the Register section. You do NOT need to be a member to sign up for a class; however, club members enjoy discounts on classes and access to the shop outside of class hours.  Payment is processed online, guaranteeing you a place in the class.

The Gem, Mineral, and Glass Club sponsors one (and soon two) well-attended shows per year where our members can display and sell their creations and finds from field trips. We sponsor a Fort Worth Show each October and have plans to host a show in the spring.
