Class and Event Information

Pottery enthusiasts are welcome to visit the studio for a tour.

Before becoming a member, all prospects are required to complete a 6 week introductory class.  These classes provide instruction in specific techniques while familiarizing students with CERA’s studio, equipment, and policies. Qualifying prerequisite courses are identified by “Intro Class” in the class title.

Instruction may include:

  • Wheel Throwing
  • Advanced Throwing
  • Hand-Building
  • Alternative Firing Techniques
  • Sculpture

The cost for a 6 week introductory class is $270.

Clay and tool sets are available for purchase for a small fee during registration, or you may bring your own clay and tools. Members enrolling in additional classes or workshops must supply their own clay.

The CERA Pottery Studio is available to members during regular operating hours. During classes and workshops, the studio is reserved exclusively for participants, ensuring a quiet and focused environment for learning and practice.
