Contracted Activities


Aikido Kokikiai is a Japanese martial art that practices self-defense through mind and body unification (also known as “Ki Power”) while minimizing opponent injury. Whether you are looking to improve your self-defense skills, increase your confidence, or apply mindfulness in a practical way, CERA’s Aikido classes are a great opportunity for you.

Class Details

  • Classes are held on Saturdays from 3:00 pm – 4:30 pm in the upstairs Sierra Room
  • Most classes are designed for adults age 16 and over, and we welcome practitioners of all skill levels
  • Teenage participants younger than 16 are welcome to join an adult class, if their parent or guardian participates as well
  • Superior Services and Friendly Personnel
  • Children aged 8-12 are welcome with instructor approval and parental participation

Belly Dance

Belly Dance is a fun and unique activity that promotes strength and fitness for women while teaching traditional styles of Middle Eastern dance. Whether you sign up alone or with a group of your closest friends, CERA’s belly dancing classes will have you all smiling as you shimmy and shake across our studio.

Our experienced instructors have developed a series of classes that will make Belly Dance approachable and fun for participants of all body types and skill levels. Classes cover the solo, folkloric, and social dance styles, while providing cultural context for each. During the 8-week class, you will learn to control your body, find your inner rhythm, and have fun exercising!

Class Schedule

Our 8-week sessions are offered 4 times per year. Dates start in early January, mid-March, late May, and mid-September.

Belly Dance Mixed Level Class

  • Wednesday 6:15 pm – 7:15 pm

This class is for advanced level dancers or those with a few years’ experience. Instructor Johanna’s mixed level class is perfect for dancers who are looking to challenge their repertoire and range of motion or who are just eager to try something new. Wear something comfortable and be prepared to learn and, most of all, have fun!

Tae Kwon Do

Tae Kwon Do is a Korean martial art that teaches self-defense, self-control, and self-confidence in a safe environment. Learn to defend yourself and strengthen your body with this respected martial art. Visitors are welcome to observe classes or even try out two FREE classes to see if it is for them. New students are accepted any time.


  • Body strengthening and conditioning
  • Improve self-confidence, aerobic conditioning, coordination, and balance
  • Training focuses on patience, respect for others, and mind-body focus

Class Schedule (Tuesdays and Thursdays only)

Classes are temporarily being held at the Won Park Institute (7930 Camp Bowie | Ft. Worth, TX 76116) until CERA renovations are completed.

  • Beginners (White Belts) – 5:30 pm – 6:15 pm
  • Advanced (Yellow to Black Belts) – 6:15 pm – 7:15 pm
